About Us

Our History

Country Care has been a trusted name in assisted living for 24 years. Conveniently located just off I-15, our two assisted living facilities sit side by side in beautiful, residential west Farmington.

Country Care opened for business in 1998. The owners, Greg and Carolee Barlow, have been involved in every aspect of the business from day one. Greg majored in accounting, but realized his true passion was caring for the elderly so he got his minor in gerontology before graduating from BYU. He and Carolee then worked as live-in care takers in a small, assisted living center in Lehi where they discovered that assisted living is what they wanted to do for a living.

Based on first-hand experience, they designed the floor plan and built their first assisted living facility in Farmington. Five years later, a second home was added next door. Since then, there have been several remodels, including a 2021 remodel of the kitchens and common areas of both homes.

Country Care’s mission is to create a safe, family-like environment where residents feel at home. We are committed to providing quality care at an affordable price. We love our residents and are personally involved in their care. Come see the difference for yourself!
